Memorandum of Understanding: IAMG vs CoDa Association

We are glad to announce that the International Association of Mathematical Geosciences (IAMG) and our association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a period of three years. 

According the MOU:

1. IAMG shall support CoDa Association with the following:

• Encourage its members working on or using compositional data procedures to join CoDa Association;
• Allow CoDa Association to announce its events in IAMG newsletters and on the website;
• Allow subscription to IAMG Newsletters upon request.
• Allow subscription to scientific journals (Mathematical Geosciences, Natural Resources Research and Computers & Geosciences) for a discounted fee upon request;
• Encourage lecturers at meetings and other potential authors amongst its members, to present their work related to compositional data in CoDaWork meetings or other events organized by CoDa Association;
• Sending CoDa Association its annual report;
• Offer CoDa Association a complimentary stand with basic furniture and a full delegate pass at the IAMG Annual Conference.  

2.  CoDa Association shall support IAMG with the following:

• Encourage its members working on geosciences to join IAMG;
• Allow IAMG to announce its events in CoDa Association newsletters (if any) and on the website;
• Allow subscription to scientific journals or publications eventually published by CoDa-Association for a discounted fee upon request;
• Encourage lecturers at meetings and other potential authors amongst its members, to present their work related to geosciences in meetings or other events organized by IAMG;
• Sending IAMG its annual report;
• Offer IAMG a complimentary stand with basic furniture and a full delegate pass at CoDaWork, the biannual conference of CoDa Association or other scientific events eventually organized by CoDa Association.
