The CoDaWork

The CoDaWork is an open forum for the discussion of any methodological and practical aspects related to the analysis, modelling and interpretation of compositional data. The primary goal is to serve as meeting point to present and discuss the latest advances and applications in the area and get in touch with others working with compositional data. Specialist researchers, postgraduate students, practitioners, anyone with a general interest in the field, are encouraged to contribute with their new ideas, developments, issues, experiences and results.

The CoDaWork program usually includes:

  • some invited talks,

  • oral contributions,

  • poster contributions,

  • and also excursion and dinner!

An introductory course to compositional data analysis will be offered on the first day.

We keep CoDaWork pivoting around applications in different fields, among others, economics and business, psychology, official statistics, linguistics, medicine, biology, genetics, demography, morphology, earth, planetary and environmental sciences, archaeometry forensics and engineering.
